MEET ELIJAH TINDALL

It all started when;

as a child, a very shy, stuttering kid desperately attempted to hide among the crowd. No matter how hard he tried, Elijah would find himself being the center of attention. Being raised (as he describes) “half Mexican/half White boy” in the south, he stood out…whether he wanted to or not. Elijah realized that his ability to use humor in story-telling was a currency that he was ready to cash in on. While struggling academically in high-school, it was his class-clown status that would win both teacher and peer approval. It was in his senior year that, through approaching failure, he would intersect with his destiny: Entertainment. As a result of needing to make up 3 credits to graduate, his counselor enrolled him in a Vo-Tech course off campus. Having several options, Elijah chose RADIO BROADCASTING as his class. He didn’t consider that this was a course that would require speaking. To his knowledge, radio was just people playing music on the air. He quickly became aware otherwise. Luckily his instructor identified this impediment right off the bat and pulled him aside to offer assistance. It was no time at all before Elijah was reading aloud and even found himself working a part-time position at the largest Top 40 Radio station in the state. By the end of his senior year, Elijah was hosting his own afternoon radio show at 17 years old. To this day, his gratitude for that instructor is fully expressed on a regular basis.

Over time, through a series of events and shifts, Elijah had transitioned from working in radio to helping in non-profit, faith-based organizations. In the footsteps of his father, a pastor for over 30 years to inner city outreach programs, Elijah focused his communications abilities to spread positivity. In 2006, he felt the nudge to go back into entertainment. He quickly became a person to watch. Launching from Oklahoma City at that time, Elijah won “Oklahoma’s Top Comic” competition, hosted by the Loony Bin Comedy Club. In 2009, he and his family moved to Ventura, California.

For the past 32 years, Elijah Tindall has worked in a communication field of some sort. “Comedy is the hinge that opens bigger doors” is a common phrase he uses. Today you will find his calendar full with comedy events, conferences, cruise lines and prison shows. He is a seasoned professional who prides himself as having material for every audience.
